D-Day Minus 3
Woke up at 6am.
Prep for the swim.
Alas, the guys slept till almost 7am and it was 8am when we started our swim.
Did a out and back swim twice.
Sea is very choppy.
Cannot see the sea bottom clearly as was told by the guys who did the IM race before. :(
On the return leg, I got extremely frustrated as I kept finding myself facing the jetty every single time I sight.
It is almost as if I am swimming at a 45 degree angle towards shore.
I am kinda glad that I flew in early to acclimatise to the weather conditions.
I have to fix everything as soon as possible before the race.
Met Eliza, Siew Ling, Kam Meng, Ivan, Sean, YP, Chris and a few other Singaporeans during the swim.
Gosh, this almost feels like a local Singapore race.
After the sea swim, we went for brunch before some grocery shopping.
Then it was time to hit the Race Expo.
Did my race registration and got tagged.
Bought some IM merchandise before proceeding back to the resort to rest.
We should be going for a ride later to familarise myself to the route.
