Day 151 : 5th July 2011 Running

If you guys are wondering why I always have so much things to say about a run, it is just the thoughts that ran through my mind while I run. I choose to pen it down. ;)

Take your pick.

I tried the three set of shoes over the last three days and my favourite is still my performance trainers.

Can a pair of shoes change your foot strike? I will say "Yes".
Much as I hate to, I am kinda heel striking when I am wearing AK14.
The toe to heel difference is just too great...

I started out the run feeling chilly.
The stomach feel bloated from the Performance Bar...
All is good within a kilometer. =)
I started to heel strike almost 200m into the run.
The knee pain comes late in the run, but kinda disappear...
Too much distance in a relatively short span of time or is it the shoes, time will tell.

I love the feeling of being able to run the distance without walking.
I love the feeling of perspiration pouring down my face during the run.
I love the sight of perspiration ponding after the run.
I love a run that I can do without additional hydration or food.
That is why Yishun Ring Road Run suits me very well. =)

Feel kinda flat after 4km, but I persisted.
I did not finish strong, but I enjoyed the run nonetheless. =)
