Took my own sweet time and finally left home at 5:10am.
Cycling up the first two slopes is tough, but it got better after the muscles warmed up.
Something does not feel right though, there is too much float on both shoes.
Lightning is all over the place.
Reached Mandai Shell at 5:35am. Took a look at the cleats...
I lost a front screw! And somehow all the other screws are loose.
This has to happen on the day I left my allen keys at home. Grr...
Decided to call it a day and turn back home....
Still a good ride though given the distance.
Lesson learnt?
Always be kiasu...
Bring another pair of cycling shoes to IMWA. =)
Haha... To think that I survived with a single pair of cycling shoes for the past 4 years. =p
