Day 105 : 20th August 2011 Cycling

Losing to the Zzz monster yet again, I rode out to Lim Chu Kang hoping to catch the group.

Reaching end of LCK, I was surprised that the group were nowhere in sight.
Gosh, I think too highly of myself.
While refueling, I meekly took out my phone and check the next re-group point.

Reaching SPC Jalan Buroh at 7:20am, I was surprised to see the petrol kiosk empty.
Luckily, while checking my FB News Feeds the group appear.
Keke, the group were pretty surprised to see me. :p

Riding out of SPC, I could not keep up with the pack.
A peek at the speedometer... 36kmh!

Keeping the story short, the group went through South Buona Vista Road, NUS, Peyps Road and Mount Faber Road.

Haha, my first time up Mount Faber is pretty surreal.
Turning right up the slope, I have the sensation that I am going to wheelie over.
Kept over my butt forward till the nose of the saddle before I felt better.
A car horn see Brian jumped off his bike and that prompted me to do the same thing.

There goes my chance of ascending Mount Faber without pushing the bike.
Pushed the bike till a more gentle slope before climbing again.

While some of the riders went for second helping, a few of us are contented to just wait at the foot of the hill. :p

We adjourned to Amoy Street for Lor Mee before cycling home.
