Attended the GU Nutrition Testing Session at Funan Running Lab.
Was surprised but glad to see Marc.
He is our host for today. =)
Tried out GU Chomps and GU Brew.
Still prefer Clif Bloks to GU Chomps.
Less sugary and easier to manage during rides or races.
GU Brew Lemon-Lime taste like 100-Plus Lemon Lime without the fizz, which is good.
Surprisingly, I feel it works as good as Accelerade.
Had wanted to try GU Espresso-Love, but sadly it was not available for the nutrition session.
Started out run at 7:15pm.
Ran along Singapore River, Esplanade and did a U-turn at the Benjamin Sheares Bridge 2nd pass.
Could not keep up with BFF's pace.
Poor BFF has to keep waiting for me to catch up!

Always the nice trainer, BFF prompted me about the distance remaining. =)
Less than 200m before the finish, BFF mentioned "I sense you are speeding up"
Haha... selective hearing makes me hear "Speed Up" and I sped off.
I always love the feeling of Finishing Strong.
To be able to sped off after a constant-paced run always feels great.

Keeping a constant pace/speed has become my motivation for a good run/ride. =)
Collected the goodie pack which is a GU limited edition water bottle. Nice!
More surprise was in the water bottle, two GU gels, two GU Brew Electrolyte Tablets and two GU Chomps.
Was surprised that they managed to squeeze everything into the bottle. =)
