Today marks the start of the six months countdown to IMWA.
Waiting at the Yishun-Sembawang traffic junction for the lights to turn green, I watched as the peloton appeared and disappeared within mere seconds!!!
By the time I crossed the traffic junction, it is too late!!!
I could not even see the last cyclist!!!
With Mandai Shell bare, I decided to continue cycling without a drink break.
Was so happy when I finally caught up with part of the group who were stuck at the Bukit Panjang Traffic Junction.
Managed to hang on with the group till the Clementi-Kent Ridge Crescent traffic junction.
Got to be one of the most embarrassing day of my life. Luckily, I dun have much witnesses.
With one leg clipped in, I tried to pedal when the lights turn green.
Was not able to do so, so I shifted to small chainrings.
The chainrings won't engage and I kick-move-kick-move over the traffic junction before I was able to start pedalling...
Again, the group was nowhere in sight when I crossed the traffic junction.
Took a slow ride to Amoy Street where I stop over for a cup of Avocado Juice before cycling home.
