Day 232 : 15th April 2011 Cycling

Reaching Sembawang-Yishun cross junction at 5:20am, I am hoping that I will still be able to catch the coat tails of the JoyRiders.

The legs is surprisingly responsive today.
The climb up Mandai Road felt easy...
For the longest time, I had struggled up this gentle but long slope...

After climbing the slope, I was surprised to see a cyclist in the distance!
Could be a lone rider as he does not seems to be wearing a JR jersey.

Managed to catch up and overtook the rider...
Gosh... it has been ages seems I have done that...
Cyclists had always overtook me and disappeared into the distance.
I really felt bad doing this...

Reached Mandai Shell and was surprised to see two JRs waiting.
Turned out they were waiting for the lone rider.

Took the lead just before Hume Avenue.
Was wondering if the guys are still with me at Jalan Anak Bukit when one rider said "Go!"

Off I went and was surprised that they did not catch up...
Took my time along Bukit Timah Road before I finally stopped to check...
Where are the guys?
Decided to go ahead after not seeing them appear in the distance.

Up Sin Ming Road, I struggled and decided to switch to small chainrings...
Nah... Big chainrings it shall be today. =)

Keke...Compact cranks will stay with me for good...
No way I am going back to 53... Hmmm... except for a million dollars, I would. ;)

Had some reasons, I no longer have an urge to stop over at McD...
Rode like the wind home. ;)
