It is even more amusing when you had a first hand encounter with a guy who do not know how to pump a tire.
On Saturday, while resting at Mandai Shell, a guy rode up to us and ask if we have a portable bicycle pump which he can borrow.
I passed him mine and I watch in amusement when he attached the pump to his bicycle value and started pumping!
"U need to lock the pump", I said and he looked at me puzzlingly...
I unscrewed the valve, locked the pump and pumped up his tire for him.
"I think the rear tire need some air too. It is tough riding 40km in this set of tires", he said after I completed.
I touched the rear tire. Gosh...
20psi, at best 40psi...I wonder how fast he can go?
After sweating it out, I finally get his tires pumped to a respectable pressure.
It is never easy to try to pump a tire to 100psi using a mini pump! =D

===================
Disappointed that I have to give up the Desaru Ride.
Tried to wake up in the morning to ride alone, but waking up it much harder than I thought.
After a bad day, I decided to go out for an evening run.
Less than 1km in, I got another call from work...
Haiz, will they ever let me enjoy my day off...
While talking to my colleague, my Garmin 310 went berserk!
I can hear the constant beeping and vibration.
Turning it around, I was surprised to see 15.69km in 7min 31seconds completed!
Siao! That is 120kmh! I have never even drive that fast before, let alone run. =D
Running without a targeted route, it was kinda nice.
Heeding TS's advice, I settled into my pace very early into the run.
Although slow, it keep me going without requiring me to walk.
Just when the run get a little boring, I started running military style
"一二,一二,一二,一二,一二,一二"
Can almost imagine 司官长 running beside me. =p
That took me to the end of my run.It is a run where I think I can just go on and on and on. =)
