Day 305 1st February 2011 Gym

To skive is always so easy...
Could have gone to the gym on Monday, but choose to treat 2 colleagues to a farewell lunch.

Temptation is to skip today's training, but managed to persuade myself to run. ;)
20 minutes at 9kmh pace. 3km completed.
It is a nice feeling to be able to push the pace yet able to complete.

It is especially sweet when you do not have the TV turned on...

One day, I hope I can do a sub-hour 10km run...
I know I have a long way to go...

Learnt that I can slow down my momentum without slowing down the treadmill's speed. :)
Learnt that Asics Kayano has a great effect in killing down my pace...

Did a 18 minutes bike trainer...
Always hate gym equipment, cos they never give you a true readout of your workout..
Everything is based on calculation and formula.

While pedaling, I started observing the other gym rats.
There is the guy who run and hold onto the treadmill while running...
From my angle, I cannot see his pace nor distance. But he is sweating profusely (the treadmill is full of his perspiration) and running at a fast pace.
Beside him is a runner who is doing his 35 minute run at 8kmh pace and incline of 5.
Last 5 minutes of his run, I am wondering when he is going to fall off the treadmill.
He is running at the rear half of the treadmill and is having a hard time keeping the pace...
He completed his run without incident.
