Day 333 : 4th January 2011 Where is Our Kid?

Recess time!
Parents are hovering around the canteen eagerly waiting for the kids to come down for recess.

For the second time within a day, I am overwhelmed with emotions.
I was thinking I may felt this way if I cross the Finish Line on 4th December 2011.
But nah, nothing will beat this...
Come 4th December 2011, I will be prepared.
Today, I am prepared. But life has never prepared me for this transition in my kid's life.

The canteen is starting to fill up with Primary One students and their Upper Primary buddies.
Where is our Shannon???
We have missed her coming down the stairs. Not surprisingly, as there as three sets of staircases and only one staircase is within view from the canteen.

Ahh... here comes Shannon with her plate of noodles and fishball.
Unaware that we are in the crowd, she sat with her back to us.
We maneuver ourselves so that we can observe her while she eats.
After recess, the students made their way to the school hall and we made our way home...
